As much as I love technology, and use it to further my work in every aspect it can, sometimes doing an edit on a story is best left to the old fashioned way.

When working towards a tight final edit of my editorial projects, I tend to print out my favorite frames from a story and manipulate the story by hand on foam core walls until I find the perfect mix that shows my vision. There is nothing like seeing your images in print and physically touching the prints to really see the meaning behind the story.
